The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 7th and since we are unable to meet in large groups at City Hall to pray, CBC is celebrating by hosting a Prayer Drive Out and About. You can serve and pray in several ways.
First, join others May 7th at Noon on the Eureka High School Parking Lot. There you will be assigned to a travel team. Each travel team will drive around town praying for others in our community. We encourage you to decorate your cars with posters or writing inspirational messages on the windows.
Second, we are encouraging people to donate food items to the Eureka Food Pantry. People can leave non-perishable food items at the end of their driveway for the travel groups to pick up.
Third, you can volunteer to help. We need a few people to help direct traffic as cars arrive at the high school.
We also need volunteers to pick up any food donations as the travel groups drive around the neighborhoods and we need some people to drive through smaller neighborhoods looking for food items people have set out.
If you have any questions, contact the church office.
Come join CBC for prayer in Eureka.
