What We Believe

At Central Baptist Church we believe God wants to be actively involved in your life. He uses the Bible to communicate with people about His will and purpose.  He wants you to build a relationship with Him that begins when you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Once you start this journey, God wants to enrich your life and fill you with strength.

Our core beliefs include:

• The Bible is God's holy word and our guide to a better life.

• Salvation means to be rescued from our failures, struggles and sins.  Salvation comes when you surrender to Jesus Christ in faith and ask for His forgiveness.

• The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity and dwells in believers to equip and guide us on our journey with God.

• The Church is a community of believers in Jesus Christ who work together to strengthen one another and encourage others to serve the Lord.

• Baptism is for those who believe in Jesus Christ as their savior.
